This page should give you an general idea of how to commission a portrait or painting by Alan Dedman. You have input in the creation of your own specific artwork. An ideal way for clients to participate in making a piece of contemporary British art.This is a general guide and prices depend on medium, subject and size - a tailor made artwork for you. If you have a certain commission in mind please contact Alan to discuss your requirements and he will email you a quote.

All commissions require a 50% deposit upon Alan agreeing to work on a commission for you; the rest will be due on completion to be paid via paypal, bank transfer or cheque. The progress of the work is communicated to you as it develops, so you can watch its emergence and not worry about the end result. Participate in the creation of your own piece of affordable contemporary Art/modern Kunst and have a colourful addition to your living space.

Artwork can be collected from Alan's studio, or alternatively can be posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce 24hr courier. All overseas artwork is sent Parceforce International. All UK delivery cost £15 and overseas delivery costs £40

Standard sizes with prices are listed below and other sizes are available. Please email Alan and request a quote for other sizes or for more than one person or animal in the portrait. All portraits are sent unframed.

Scenic backgrounds within your portrait will be extra depending on the complexity of the background / view. Please email for a quote and let Alan know your preferences.
