Since 1986 Alan Dedman has made works which focus on the mechanics of lovemaking. Klimt did it, so did Courbet, Beardsley, Picasso, Rembrandt and many others. This folio of images may be offensive to some, but it is an honest and often humorous look at things human.

Pink Lovers is one of a series of small works in oils, of an imagined moment when a 'cougar' makes her move. An older woman takes the lead; seducing a young man. All of these works begin as pencil studies - then they are 'fleshed out' with paint. Whatever the viewer makes of these works, at least they are anatomically plausible - unlike Cecily Brown's efforts.
